The library is situated on the ground floor of the University of Zimbabwe College of Health sciences on Mazowe Street, Harare. It is at the North end of the Parirenyatwa Hospital complex. The College of Health Sciences Library (CHS) is historically and by designation the country’s national focal point for health information, and it is the only comprehensive source of biomedical and health information in Zimbabwe.

- Overdue fine notices are sent as a courtesy. Failure to receive a notice does not absolve the borrower of the responsibility of returning overdue materials. For fines visit the Circulation Services

- Fines can now be paid throughout the day.
Users with outstanding fines will not be allowed to borrow books.

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences library staff will impart information literacy skills to library users to enable them to become independent lifelong learners. Users will be in a position to effectively select, search and evaluate information sources. ILS training is a continuous process and duration and levels of training vary on the extent of need of different groups. Education is provided for undergraduates and any other users who would benefit from a tour of the library and information about its operations and services.
